Light & Lacy Scarves

February 23, 2010

Hello Again!!

It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog and I seem to be having horrible writers block, so I’ll just get right to it!  I think I’ve decided to share a couple of scarves that I just finished up. I call them the Light & Lacy Scarves….

Click on any of the above images to get a closer look!!

I wanted to make light and airy scarves for spring, something long, narrow, and lacy-like..

I came across THIS pattern found on the Drops Designs website. The original pattern called for very thick boulce yarn, and made a really wide, shawl-like scarf. I used much, much thinner yarn and a waaaaaay smaller crochet hook, and the results were just as I had expected!! SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!

They are long enough to wear however you’d like, and the colors are very fun and exciting!!I’ll probably end up making some more of these eventually… I suppose you’ll have to wait and see…

Well anyway, I think that’s gonna do it for today!

Please comment & subscribe and all that fun stuff!!

And don’t forget to visit my STORE and check out whats for sale!!

As always, thanks for checking out my blog! Come back soon!!! :)
